On 2 and 3 March 2024, teachers, education leaders and education experts from across Armenia and the UK gathered in Yerevan for the British Council in Armenia’s annual Teaching for Success conference.

The conference was held in partnership with the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport (MoESCS), the National Centre for Education Development and Innovation, and Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University.

The overarching theme of the conference was ‘Towards a Continuing Professional Development (CPD)’.

The British Council holds this conference every year. It is a chance for teachers to explore current trends and practices in English language teaching through the lens of Armenia’s new CPD framework and its professional practices. We offer teachers a platform – free of charge – to connect with their peers and share experiences with one another through talks and workshops. All sessions are delivered in English. All participants receive a certificate of participation from the British Council.
