The British Council has commissioned a feasibility/mapping research study to explore the current Transnational Education (TNE) scenery in Armenia and explore associated opportunities and barriers. This is in response to a rapid TNE growth as a results of drastic increase in demand for tertiary education.
The study will be conducted by Times Higher Education (THE).
The research aims to answer the below five key questions:
- What is the scale of the current activity of TNE in Armenia?
- What are the barriers and opportunities/enablers/incentives for TNE in Armenia?
- What is the detailed regulatory environment for TNE in Armenia?
- What are the views of the country stakeholders (university and government representatives) on the current and future prospects for TNE in Armenia?
- What are the current lessons learned from the existing TNE activity in Armenia?
