Enterprise Educators UK (EEUK) and British Council Armenia are pleased to announce the launch of a new Enterprise Education Regional Sub-Committee for Armenia.
The new Regional Sub-Committee will support and develop enterprise and entrepreneurship activity among Armenian members, enabling excellence in enterprise and entrepreneurship education in the region.
The new partnership has grown from the EEUK/British Council Creative Flame programme, itself a legacy of the British Council’s Creative Spark programme, which supported the establishment of institutional partnerships and enterprise education development in beneficiary countries by working with 132 universities and creative organisations, and establishing 32 creative hubs in the involved institutions (2012–23).
The new Regional Sub-Committee, chaired by a representative from one of the partner institutions, will inform the EEUK Board of Directors about member activity within the region and facilitate the reciprocal exchange of information between EEUK and its regional members.
With the support of the British Council Armenia, the five founding member institutions of the Regional Sub-Committee – the RA Ministry of High-Tech, Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology, Brusov State University, National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA), including Engineering Laboratories at the NPUA and the Simonian Educational Foundation (TUMO Studios) – will be EEUK members until July 2025.
