COMPETITION ENDS ON FRIDAY 30 NOVEMBER 2018 at 18.00

The year 2018 has been declared the European Year of Cultural Heritage. Within the framework of the European Film Festival we invite you to take part in 'EU and Me' photo contest and tell us about your memorable visit to a European cultural heritage site.

In order to take part in the contest you should:

  • find a photo of you from one of the European cultural heritage sites
  • publish the photo on your Facebook page along with accompanying hashtags #EUFF2018, #EYCH2018
  • in your post tell us in a few sentences what you appreciate the most about visiting that particular place – your story could be submitted either in English or Armenian
  • send the photo and application form to info@britishcouncil.am, indicating your name and surname in the subject line by 30 November, 18.00. The winners will be selected on 4 December in a lucky draw to get valuable prizes.

Eligibility

The contest is open to residents of Armenia aged 18 years and over.

Terms and Conditions

  1. You must be the sole author and owner of the copyright to the photo submitted.
  2. Only one entry per person is allowed. 
  3. The photos that disseminate hatred and offense and do not comply with the idea of the contest will not be accepted.
  4. Don't take images of private persons without their consent. No children should be recognisable in the photo.
  5. Special effects, computer-generated images and other heavy modifications should be avoided.
  6. The contest will be promoted through the British Council Armenia's website and Facebook page. All submitted photos could be used in our publications.
