We are happy to announce that British Council Armenia within its 2017 Teacher Development programme will host Jeremy Harmer the worldrenowned and acclaimed teacher educator, writer, and speaker in Armenia from 10 to 12 November to deliver talks and training sessions for Language Teaching (ELT) specialists working in Armenia.
Who is Jeremy Harmer?
Jeremy Harmer, and experienced teacher and trainer, is a writer of methodology titles, learner literature and coursebooks. Among his titles are The Practice of English Language, How to Teach English and Essential Teacher Knowledge (Pearson), and Trumpet Voluntary and Solo Saxophone (Cambridge University Press). He is a member of the writing team for Jetstream, a new adult course from Helbling.
Jeremy is a course designer and tutor on the MA TESOL at the New School New York and an occasional tutor at the Norwich Institute of Language Education (NILE). Away from ELT Jeremy enjoys life as a practising musician, songwriter and spoken-word performer.

Event Participation
All the sessions are open to all interested teachers and educators - free of charge. However, interested individuals need to register in the event by filling in our online registration form and indicating the sessions they would like to attend. The registration deadline for the sessions is 3 November - 18:00.
- Important note 1: When registering online, if you are asked for a password, please refer to the online registration guidelines document at the end of this page.
- Important note 2: All the session will be delivered in English.
- Important note 3: There is a room capacity limitation and upon exceeding number of registrations, “First come - First served” policy will be used.
Certificate of Attendance
All participants will receive a British Council Certificate of Attendance with Jeremy Harmer’s signature.
- Important note 1: Each participant will receive only one certificate regardless of the number of sessions attended. However, the titles of sessions attended will be indicated on the certificate.
- Important note 2: To receive a certificate, attendance in each registered session is mandatory.
- Important note 3: The Certificates of Attendance will be provided to the participants through a shared website in electronic version to be provided post-event. The participants can then print the certificates on an A4 (130 gram) paper and validate the certificates by visiting the British Council Armenia office and having the certificates stamped.
On the Event Days
All registered participates to enter the workshops venue will need to show up at least 30 minutes before the event’s start time for a quick in-venue re-registration. The sessions will start sharp on the time indicated.
